How to Death Knight

Has some good info for all specs. Although right now 2 hand unholy is the top for pve dps till Raid heroics.
Besides having a good understanding of all the different abilities you have and how to use them. Learning when to do which one in each fight to max your potential is key. Damage mitigation is also huge right now, optimizing AMS and icebound fortitude will not only help your healers a lot but maybe even save your life. Dont save them till your in trouble, pop them every time the boss does a mechanic like raid wide dmg.
Its a good idea to army right before a boss pull. also to max army prepot with a haste pot to make them do more dmg. As for your in combat pot. Str of course, but make sure u use it during Heroism to yield the highest output.
Addons can be another big help for a lot of people. Currently i run about 30 addons but of the ones useful for a dk try
ClC dk an excellent addon for tracking dots, cds. priority button and runes
Tidy plates to track your dots on multiple targets as well as threat.
Fortexorcist has a nice cd bar.
Bartender/pitbull this will allow you to free up a lot of room on your screen helping with raid awareness.
Grid gives a smaller set of raid frames which will also free up some room
Tiptac lets u move your tool tip and change whats on it as well as the size of the box.
I will be adding a screen shot later on and create a UI forum page as well so be sure to check it out.
With the patch coming in a week or 2 things may change drastically. Help each other out and dont be afraid to ask questions.
